Sundeep Kishan and Nithya Menen starrer Okka Ammayi Tappa is creating a good buzz slowly and steadily. The makers are saying that this film is a romantic thriller. The first half of the film is devoted to love and the second half goes into a thrilling mode.
Okka Ammayi Tappa is mostly shot on top of the hitech city flyover. Rajasimha has directed this film. This is his debut film and he says that cinematographer Chota K Naidu has added a new meaning to this film. OAT would be incomplete without Chota K Naidu.
Elaborating about the film the director said that they did not have budget to spend lavishly on the visual effects. The budget was tight but at the same time they needed quality visuals. Chota Naidu made sure that he delivered the best within the set budget.
Okka Ammayi Tappa is a story from director’s life. Once he was stuck on a flyover for two hours and this story took shape in his mind. The film is about how the heroine and hero meet on a flyover, where they are stuck in traffic for eight hours. They fall in love and what happens thereafter forms the story of this film. The director said that the film comes with a suspense angle as well.
Speaking about the lead actor Sundeep Kishan , Rajasimha said that he blindly believed in this film. There was a time when the film was shelved due to financial reasons. Even during that time the actor said that when this film is made he would work in it.
