Press Release Circulated at Press Conference addressed by Shri Devraj Bajaj, Vice President, Sant Nirankari Mandel, in Hyderabad on Thursday, April 11, 2013 After the 65th Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam held on November 3, 4 and 5, 2012 in Delhi, there has been a chain of Regional and State-level Samagams. Accordingly, the 46th State-level Samagam of Maharashtra was held in Navi Mumbai on January 25, 26 and 27:2013 followed by Regional Samagam of Bihar and Jharkhand in Patna on March 2-3 and the State-level Samagam of Uttar Pradesh in Lucknow on March 16-17, 2013, for the first time the State-level Samagam of Uttarakhand was organized on March 30 and 31, 2013. Now the chain of events is extended with South Zone Samagam being held at Hyderabad on April 13 and14, 2013 at Exhibition Ground, NampaIly, Hyderabad.

Presided over by the Head of the Mission, Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, the Samagam is expected to be attended by thousands of devotees of the Mission from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Orissa to name a few.

The arrangements for the Samagam are being looked after by a Samagam Committee, with Smt. Mohini Ahuja, Zonal lncharge, Andhra Pradesh as its Chairman and Shri Darshan Lal, Shri Rakesh Pal as Coordinators.

With necessary coordination and cooperation from Andhra Pradesh Government, its agencies and authorities, all necessary steps are being taken to arrange electricity, water supply, proper sanitation, sewerage and cleanliness, smooth traffic movement and emergency facilities like medical aid and fire control. Authorities concerned will also look after the security requirements of such a big gathering.

Free food or Langar will be available to every devotee coming to attend the Samagam. In addition, there will be canteens which will provide tea, coffee, cold drinks and snacks at highly subsidized rates. Even mineral water will be available here.

Besides the Samagam Committee Office, the Publications Department will be putting up stalls from where the devotees will be able to pick up the Mission's literature. photographs, CDs, DVDs and other materials. The Magazine Department will also put up its own office to register new subscribers.

Objectives
To devotees of the Mission the Samagam will offer a great opportunity to strengthen their devotion to God and faith in the True Master who reveals God and provides to them a way of living based on truth, love and peace. While His Holiness showers his benign blessings through holy discourses, the participants also share their own experience with one another through enlightened speeches, devotional songs and inspiring poems. The Samagam is also an important occasion for its organizers. Sewa Dal volunteers and other devotees to take part in making arrangements for the lodging and boarding of the participants on the vast Samagam Ground. Service to mankind here is regarded as one of the most important means to express one's devotion to God.

To the world, the Samagam will present a beautiful example of unity in diverstty It will reveal that spiritual enlightenment or Divine Knowledge is the most effective means to dismantle all kinds of walls dividing humanity and bring man closer to man

A colourful exhibition is another important feature of the Samagam. It depicts the history and ideology of the Mission along with various activities such as Samagams, spiritual tours by His Holiness in India and abroad, social welfare activities, etc. A part of the exhibition seeks to highlight the theme of 'Oneness'.

All are cordially invited to attend this spiritual congregation, where emphasis will be laid upon Humanity, Universal Brotherhood and Oneness.
