About the speaker:
Dr. Raghunathan is an academic, corporate executive, author, columnist and a hobbyist and features among the top 50 Global Indian Management Thinkers of Thinkers Magazine. 2013. He is a renowned aut.hr and columnist in India with 12 books and over 500 papers and articles to his credit.
He was a Professor of Finance at IIM, Ahmedabad for nearly two decades, until 2001. He switched career ? banker for the next four years, serving as the President of ING Vysya Bank, in Bangalore. Since January 2005, he has been the CEO of GMR Varalakshmi Foundation, which over the last nine years, he has steered towards several prestigious awards. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Bocconi in Milan Italy, and Schulich School of Business of York University, Toronto, Canada.

He sits on numerous boards; has been on various national level committees; has been on several doctoral dissertations and examinations, and lectures extensively in India and abroad. He has held a cartoon colum briefly with a leading national daily in the Past, and played chess at all-India level.He blogs for the Times of /nd/a.Collecting old and ancient locks is his hobby and his collection is probably the largest in India. Dr.Raghunathan holds a doctorate from IIM, Calcutta.
