Profile of Dr. Rabinder Nath
Born on 15th February 1951 at Hyderabad, Late Dr. Rabinder Nath inherited the mantle of his legendary father Dr. Upendera Nath, who was a very well known dental surgeon and was the personal dental physician to the erstwhile Highness of the Nizam of Hyderabad. Dr Upender Nath also treated the subsequent governors of the state of Andhra Pradesh, and commanded a high degree of reputation in his own home state.

Dr. Rabinder Nath completed his schooling from the well known Little Flower High School in Hyderabad. The school is known to educate some of the finest citizens in the country. Subsequently Dr. Nath entered the reputed Andhra Vidyalaya College (A.V. College) to complete the B.Sc. Degree. The college had Prime Minister Shri P.V. Narasimha Rao Garu on the panel. Dr. Nath maintained an excellent rapport and relation in the college by virtue of being the first Union President at A.V. College. In fact during these days the Telangana agitation was spreading and Dr. Nath by being the president of the college never allowed the students to participate in the movement to the pressures of the local politicians. He maintained that the state and country should be one as people are one and there should be no disintegrators whatsoever. This helped the movement subside and prevent Andhra Pradesh from splitting at the time.
Dr Nath continued his education at the Osmania Medical College to pursue his B.D.S degree during the vice chancellorship of Justice Jagan Mohan Reddy. During this period Dr. Nath was made the chairman of Dental Students Federation of India. During that stint he organised a major 'Advanced Medical Exhibition' very successfully. In 1974, Dr. Nath proceeded to Lucknow Dental College to take advanced training in oral surgery.

Thereafter a thesis was submitted to the Royal College of Surgeons in England and subsequently the M.R.S.H was awarded to him. Soon after that, Dr Nath decided to enter public life to serve the poor, with an affinity to help those in the rural areas. He looked to help them by establishing a dental unit called 'Portadent', which was a boon to people affected in those areas.

After establishing those clinics, he worked on Meffanic acid (mefenamic acid), an anti-inflammatory. After completing successful field trials, R.R. Labs (Hyderabad) accepted it and has come to be known as the Tromaril drug.

Being the grandson of the first qualified dental surgeon of India Dr. Prem Nath, Dr. Rabinder Nath knew very well that dentistry is a very important branch of knowledge, but ignored due to illiteracy in the country. He knew that when tooth trouble starts, it could set the entire body machinery is pain and cause diseases (like Chronic Periodontal, Gingivitis, Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the mouth, Buccal

Dr. Rabinder commenced the Rani Nath Memorial Hospital after his late mother Raninath at Shamirpet. Ranga Reddy district, to cater to poor and needy and educate them on general health thus. The Rani Nath memorial hospital established in 1992 has so far treated a more than 80,000 patients. The interesting aspect of this fact is that those patients were given free treatment and free medicines. Medical education was also provided across rural areas with mass inmunisation programmes.

Subsequently for his services rendered Dr Nath was awarded the prestigious Vijayshree award.

This was followed by Dr. Nath starting another Rural Dental Hospital in the totally backward district of Mahabubnagar.
It is also pointed out that a team of American and Canadian doctors had also visited Dr. Nath and were immensely satisfied with his work. They selected his name and recommended him for the grant of "Glory of India International Award".

Dr. Nath personally had an interest to serve the needy. He invested his own personal resources for benefiting the poor and needy in term of supply of free medicines and other equipment.

In this endeavors, Dr. Nath was nobly assisted by noble wife, Mrs. Neelam Nath and their two children totality and thus bringing about a big transformation and change in the field of Rural Medical Technology.

Abhishek Nath and the foundations would be working to create an charitable training institute one of its kind. The institute would be more likely as a film studio which would have various faculty for practical training example a mock corporate Office/ Hospital / Retail setup. Where an individual would be groomed on practical session of training technical services pantry services with basic knowledge on computer skills and body language. The institute would also impart basic knowledge towards vocabulary skills.

It's almost like a B- School for the underprivileged and bridging the gap between the un employed and the potential employer.
