Lifestyle Coach and Author of "Eat Smart, Move More, Sleep Right, Your Personal Health Coach". Luke Coutinho conducted a Workshop on Holitistic Lifestyle changes (or Healthier and Happier Life for members of FICCI Ladies Organistion here at Hotel Hyatt, Banjara Hills in city today.

Participated by 150 members, Luke shared some simple facts and methods to inculcate a healthy lifestyle. Luke who is an 'International Collaborator ' with the University of Yale and Harvard and practices in the field of nutrition, health, preventive and alternative treatment, talked about prevention and cure and how going natural is the only real way. His philosophy revolved around simplicity and sustainability.
Luke coutinho is a nutritionist, author, speaker, fitness and lifestyle coach. He has been addressing gatherings across the world and he handles cases ranging from obesity to disease and cancer.

Author of' Eat Smart, Move More, Sleep Right - Your personal health coach' sold globally, Luke has been involved in nutrition and fitness even since he graduated from IHM with specialization in food science and nutrition. With advanced certifications from Australia and New York, Luke is also tied up with leading hospitals in New York.

He is currently working on his next book and setting up integrative oncology wards with various international governments. Luke also leads several programs for children and adults revolving around nutrition, body image, health and lifestyle.

Health is described as physical and mental well-being and freedom from disease, pain or defect.

However, such descriptions only superficially define the actual meaning of health. There may be many occasions when individuals are not necessarily ill or in pain but may be overweight, stressed or emotionally unstable. Health is a quality of life involving dynamic interaction and interdependence among the individual's physical state, their mental and emotional reactions, and the social context in which the individual exists. There are many factors that influence your health, but three major components contribute to general well-being: Self-awareness, a balanced diet and, regular physical activity.
