A movie which was a hit in Hindi under the title ‘Love Aaj Kal’ has been considered for remake in Telugu.  Pawan Kalyan does the lead which was done by Saif Ali Khan in Hindi and Trisha does that of Deepika Padukone.

The movie titled ‘Teen Maar’ in Telugu talks about the confusion and related emotions in the minds of lovers today with reference to the olden days.  So there is a couple Jai (Pawan Kalyan) and Meera (Trisha) who have a live-in relationship staying in London, as they could not reconcile to a long association in the form of a marriage.  They decide to go their separate ways but still vow to be friends with an intention to be in touch with each other.  Parallally another character of played by Pawan turns out to be a great believer of love who narrates his life to Jai with an intention to change his mind.  Meanwhile Jai starts dating another girl played by Kriti Kharbanda.  At the same time Trisha gets feelers from her boss back in India and she appear a bit confused.  As Jai’s dream job gets into trouble he starts taking a relook at his real state of affairs in his life and realizes that he still has love left in him for Trisha.  What happens next is worth seeing on the screen.

Pawan Kalyan, as a lead actor has taken the entire responsibility himself in this movie even going to the extent of a tight lip-lock with Trisha which he is doing for the first time on the screen.  His past romantic hits like ‘Toliprema’ and ‘Kushi’ have already earned him a name as a great romantic hero.  So his selection for this film seems to be very apt with his going one step ahead in romancing two heroines.  For Trisha, this is her first full-length film with Pawan though she did a small role earlier in ‘Bangaram’.

It is very important to mention a few words on the producer Ganesh Babu.  He happens to be a character artist cum comedian who developed a friendship with Pawan over a period and it is Pawan who has seen his desire to produce films and decided to support him in the remake of ‘Love Aaj Kal’.  So this is the first film for Parameshwara Arts banner.

Jayanth C Paranjee is directing this film who doesn’t need any introduction.  His past films ‘Preminchukundam Ra’, ‘Bavagaru Bagunnara’, ‘Premante Idera’, ‘Ravoyi Chandamama’, ‘Takkari Donga’, ‘Eeshwar’, ‘Lakshmi Narasimha’ and ‘Shankar Dada MBBS’ can speak for themselves.  Another aspect with Jayanth is that he has also mastered the art of directing the romance based films.  Another permanent fixture in Jayanth’s movies is the music director Mani Sharma.  Here also Mani Sharma has given excellent songs like ‘Aale Baale’, ‘Vayyarala’, ‘Barbi Bommaki’ & ‘Gelupu Talapule’.

While on locations the entire unit seems to have moved throughout the world starting from London, moving to South Africa, then to USA followed by New Zealand and finally returning to India and again taking the unit around India to places like Kasi, Mysore and Hyderabad, to name a few.  The highlight of the film is the Rs 1 crore set erected by art director Narayana Reddy for Mani Sharma’s special song, yet another Mani Sharma’s trade mark song on Lord Shiva.  Jayanan Vincent joined Jayanth to provide the feast to eyes with his cameras.

‘Jalsa’ was the movie which ran for its powerful dialogues and its owner Trivikram Srinivas has obliged to the compulsion of Pawan, Jayanth and Ganesh to provide the same effect in dialogues in this film also.

Trivikram’s punch dialogues, Mani Sharma’s music, Jayanth’s direction, Trisha’s glamour and Kriti’s performance are expected to play along Pawan’s romantic performance and his stylish steps giving the much needed impact to the film satisfying his fans. With this powerful combination we can expect the film to repeat its results of Bollywood.  ‘Teen Maar’ is all set to hit 1000 theaters worldwide on April 14th.
