1987 Anil Kapoor-Sridevi starrer ‘Mr India’ will see its sequel very soon. Yes, the producer of the film, Boney Kapoor, made it clear to the media that he is planning a sequel and not a remake to 1987 classic ‘Mr India’. He spoke to the media when he came to unveilthe cover of People Magazine featuring his wife Sridevi and two daughters Jhanvi and Khushi. According to him, the sequel will not have the famous villain Mogambo, instead a new villain will be introduced. The original version of ‘Mr India’ had Amrish Puri as villain Mogambo, which became very popular at that time. The filmmaker also informed the media that Sridevi and Anil Kapoor will be seen in ‘Mr India 2’ also. When asked about Salman Khan playing villain in the sequel, “If I had my way, I would plan every film with Salman Khan. But this is not in my hands, it will be according to the script."

“Mr India 2’ will hit the floor only after completion of Boney Kapoor’s present project ‘No Entry Mein Entry’, which has just completed the script work.
