Thaman hits fastest half century in music history

Most happening music director in Tollywood, S Thaman, who rendered several musical hits to almost all top stars is going to hit the half century with Mahesh Babu-Srinu Vaitla’s ‘Aagadu’. He earned numerous awards for ‘Dookudu’ with his energetic and catchy music. Now once again he is joining hands with the same team for his 50th film.

Hailing from a filmy background, Thaman entered the movie world as an actor through Shankar’s ‘Boys’ in 2003 and worked as an assistant for many top musicians including Mani Sharma before turning music director. He got his first opportunity in 2008 for composing music solely for a Tamil film titled ‘Sindhanai Sei’ and got introduced to Telugu audience in the same year through the film ‘Bheebatsam’. Thaman got his first break in Telugu in 2009 with his super energetic music in Ravi Teja’s ‘Kick’. Although six of his following films turned out as flops, he bounced back with super duper hit movie ‘Brindavanam’ featuring the star hero NTR. Later he went on to deliver back-to-back super duper hits with star heroes like ‘Mirapakay’, ‘Kandireega’, ‘Dookudu’, ‘Businessman’ ‘Love Failure’ ‘Naayak’, ‘Baadshah’, ‘Greeku Veerudu’ and ‘Thadaka’. With a mix of hits and flops, the star musician has hit the fastest half century within a span of five years and still in high demand. His current projects include, ‘Ramaiyya Vastavayya’, ‘Race Gurram’, ‘Ram Charan-Koratala Shiva’s untitled film and ‘Aagadu’. Congrats Thaman!!! You Rock and keep rocking!!!
