Vijay Deverakonda's career has been on a downswing for the past few years. As per an estimate, his latest film, 'Family Star', fetched losses to the tune of Rs 24 Cr for distributors. The film's producer, Dil Raju, will make sure that the distributors are compensated by way of selling his upcoming movie for a lesser price to them.

The losses made by 'Liger' were huge and irredeemable. While the film's producers, Puri Jagannadh and others, made profits on the 2022 release, its distributors and buyers lost out a great deal. Distributor Warangal Srinu bought the rights to the theatrical release of 'Liger' for entire South India by paying Rs 55 Cr on an NRA basis. He later sold the movie to other distributors. He released the film in Nizam on his own. In Nizam, he made losses to the tune of Rs 18 Cr.

Even 'Kushi' made some losses for distributors in Andhra Pradesh. As for 'World Famous Lover', its distributors lost almost Rs 8 Cr.
