Not many know that Siddhu Jonnalagadda had a small role in 'Josh', which was Naga Chaitanya's debut outing. At that time (2009), the budding artist was called Siddhartha in the film industry. He also did small roles in Ram Charan's 'Orange' and Natural Star Nani's 'Bheemili Kabaddi Jattu'. He played a bit role in 'Don Seenu'. It was with the 2011 film 'LBW' that Siddhu turned into a lead actor (one of the leads of the film).

Doing films like 'Ice Cream 2' made no difference to Siddhu's career. It was not until 'Guntur Talkies' (2016) happened did Siddhu stand any chance of achieving success in the film industry. And even that film is something he earned by writing its story and dialogues.

'Krishna and His Leela' in 2020 changed the game for him. The Netflix release was not watched by the masses, but it was the film that landed him a life-altering opportunity with Sithara Entertainments that same year. Producer S Naga Vamsi asked Siddhu to meet him and gave him an offer after watching the Netflix release. That's when the actor came up with 'DJ Tillu' after a few sittings with Vamsi.

His latest film, 'Tillu Square', is expected to become a double blockbuster. The comedy entertainer is billed to gross about Rs 70 Cr (although its producer has a higher expectation).

Siddhu will next be seen in 'Jack' and 'Telusu Kada'. Lucky are the producers of the two movies.
