Youth King Akkineni Akhil and Kalyani Priyadarshan starrer ‘Hello’ has completed all formalities and is all set to hit theaters worldwide grandly on December 22 as Christmas treat. On this occasion, the film unit has arranged press meet at Annapurna seven Acres in Hyderabad on December 21. Directed by Vikram Kumar of ‘Manam’ fame, the film is said to be a romantic action entertainer. Akkineni Nagarjuna is producing the film under Annapurna Studios banner.
Addressing the media, Nagarjuna said, “Luckily, my last 3 films have become success. I am extremely confident that ‘Hello’ will also become big success. First of all, I would like to thank Vikram. My father’s last film in ‘Manam’. He has given us such a great film. He once again came up with a beautiful love story and carved it out fantastically. PS Vinod’s camera visuals, Praveen Pudi’s editing, Annapurna Studio’s team and Supriya and each everyone in the team have kept their heart and soul for the good outcome of the film. Everyone in the team took it prestigiously to deliver a good film for Akhil. Basically, I love films. As ‘Hello’ is Akhil’s film, my love still raised. I am feeling proud that I have produced a feel good film ‘Hello’ with beautiful love story. Akhil worked hard sincerely for one year for this film. Akhil is basically an athlete and so Vikram made Akhil to do jumping and diving. Akhil has given energetic performance. Once the script is finalised, I won’t involve in any matters. I will take part in post-production works. Because, I like that work. I always look for the colourful and quality output. For that I will give ample time for the technicians. Vikram team has done a creative work. Entire credit of ‘Hello’ goes to Vikram.”
“I have watched the film ‘Hello’. Akhil is same as how I wanted to see him. The film runs with the element destiny and with little magic. We find magic in every film of Vikram. We did screen test to Priyadarshan and Lissy’s daughter Kalyani Priyadarshan and trained her for three months before roping her to play the female lead. I wish she will have better future after this film. Pre-release function was a grand affair. I am glad that Chiranjeevi garu and Ram Charan graced the event and blessed Akhil. Mega fans and Akkineni fans all together made the function a big success. I asked Chiranjeevi garu to watch the film and tell his opinion on the film. After watching the film, he hugged Akhil tightly and kept silent for few minutes. Tears rolled on his eyes. It shows how much he connected to the film. His reaction made me more relaxed. Charan and Akhil, both are good friends. We have delivered a beautiful baby. Audience should tell the result,” Nagarjuna added.
“After finishing ‘Manam’ I askedVikram to make a film with Akhil on Annapurna Studios. He immediately accepted and now, carved out a beautiful film. I am thankful to Vikram. Before ‘Geethanjali’ and ‘Siva’, I did many super hit films. My look and style suited well for the character in the film. Director has designed the character in ‘Hello’ which is perfectly apt to Akhil. Akhil is a new age boy. Vikram has presented Akhil in songs, scenes and actin scenes wonderfully. Akhil has surprised everyone by singing a song. I was shocked. Anup has composed beautiful songs. ‘Hello’ title song has become super hit,” said Akkineni Nagarjuna about the director Vikram.
“We have roped in Bob Brown stunt director from Hollywood. He worked for Hollywood Terminator series. He did Chinese and Korean movies. His dream is to do Indian film. The film has situational action scenes,” explained Nag about the stunt director.
About his next projects, Nagarjuna said, “I love making films. ‘Hello’ came out beautifully. It will offer ample entertainment to audience. There will be another film in Chaitu and Vikram combination. Nani and I are doing a film under Sriram Aditya’s direction. It’s a comedy entertainer.”
