The pre-release event of Naga Shaurya’s family drama ‘Ammammagarillu’ was held on May 23 in Hyderabad. The film has an ensemble cast with Naga Shaurya and Shamili playing the lead roles, while Sumitra, Rao Ramesh, Shivaji Raja and Shakalaka Shankar playing the supporting cast. KR and Rajesh are jointly producing a film under Swajith Movies banner. The film is written and directed by Sunder Surya. Kalyana Ramana has given musical scores, while Sai Karthik has provided background score. The film is set to release on May 25.
Speaking on the occasion, Naga Shaurya said, “Ammammagarillu is a nice family entertainer. Rao Ramesh garu’s character in the film will connect to everyone in real life. Sumitra garu is well-suited to her role. Sunder garu has presented the story wonderfully. The film has been made with good technical values. I am sure the film will remind you of your Ammammagarillu. I wish Rajesh garu, Kumar garu ad Sunder garu will make many more good films in future. Rassool garu has presented the film with wonderful visuals. I would like to work with him for ‘Okariki Okaru’ kind of film. Shalini is my favourite since childhood.”
Director Sunder Surya said, “Well experienced actors worked for this film. We worked on the script for two years. Naga Shaurya and Shamili were very much impressed by the script and immediately accepted to act in this. Rasool garu has given wonderful visuals. Kalyan Malik has given two wonderful songs. Sai Karthik’s background score is stupendous. Our direction team and everyone in the team have given lot of support and I am thankful to everyone.”
Producer Rajesh thanked the entire team for their support and expressed his confidence that ‘Ammammagarillu’ will surely impress everyone.
Heroine Shamili said, “I am glad to be part of this wonderful film. I am thankful to the director Sunder Surya for giving me a wonderful role. He has extracted good work from everyone in the team. I am thankful to the producers Kumar, Rajesh garu and Naga Shaurya. I have close association with my grandmother and I experienced the same atmosphere while working for this film.”
Madhumani and Hema and some other artists and technicians too spoke at the event and expressed their happiness for being part of this nice family entertainer and thanked the director and producers for having given them the good opportunity.
