'Ashwathama', starring Naga Shaurya and Mehreen in the leads and directed by Ramana Teja, will release on 31st January. Naga Shourya's mother Usha Mulpuri has produced this movie under Ira Creations and Shankar Prasad presents it. The film's unit met the press in Hyderabad. K.Raghavendra Rao attended the event as the chief guest.
K.Raghavendra Rao said, "I regularly watch small movies. New directors and technicians coming to the industry are doing well. Naga Shaurya is an actor, who can get into any role well. He looks like a class actor without beard and with a beard, he looks like a fighter. With a crown, he looks like Krishna and becomes a cowboy with a cap on. Naga Shaurya grabbed my attention with films like 'Oohalu Gusagusalade' and 'Chalo'. I haven't watched 'Ashwathama'. But I guess it will be a commercial family entertainer with a blend of action, emotion, sentiment and all the elements. I wish the team the best. Naga Shaurya should get many more successes in his career".
Naga Shaurya said, "This movie started with the blessings of Raghavendra Rao garu. He is considered as a lucky charm. The film's output is really good. I've been talking about this movie for a month. The film will release on Friday and I'm curious to see the reactions of the audiences. This movie is an emotional journey for me. Audiences will get to see a new Shourya. Our team has worked very hard on this concept, conceived by me. Phani, who approached me to direct a film, has turned associate director for this movie. Sri Charan's music and Ghibran's BGM will be very good. Every technician has put in a sincere effort".

Everyone is saying that Ramana Teja has directed the film well but Naga Shaurya has given a good story. I can't thank enough for his support. But I haven't done that for this movie. The writer in him competed with the actor in him. Ramana Teja directed the film well.
