The pre-release event of 'Savaari', starring Nandu and Priyanka Sharma in the leads and directed by Sahith Motkuri, a debutante, was held at Hotel Daspalla in Hyderabad on Monday. Santosh Mothukuri and Nishanth Reddy Kudithi are producing this movie under Kalva Narsimha Swamy productions banner. Sharat Marar, Karthikeya, Viswak Sen were among others who attended the event.
Actors Karthikeya and Vishwak Sen launched 'Savaari' big ticket. They bought the tickets for Rs.10,000.
Sharat Marar said, "Nandu is a special friend of mine. 'Savaari' is one of the few teasers I liked in the recent past. I congratulate Sahith and his team for making this movie in such a small budget. The teaser and trailer promise beautiful visuals. I could see conviction and confidence in Saahit's direction. Sekhar Chandra's songs have already made this movie a winner".
Comedian Srinivasa Reddy said, "The trailer is very interesting. After I acted in an underwear in 'Idiot', Nandu did it for this movie. Sekhar Chandra hits a sixer with every album. I hope this movie will be a big success".
Director Saahith Motkuri said, "My brother Santosh and friend Nishank produced this movie without compromising on the budget. This movie will release in 25 screens in the US. Our team has been working without sleep for the last 25 days. Monish Bhupathi Raja's visuals are excellent. When I wanted to become a director, I decided I will work with Sekhar Chandra. He gave a very good music album. Nandu is an underrated actor. I didn't know he is so talented till I did an audition. His performance is extraordinary. He mouthed dialogues in Telangana slang well. I was shocked and clapped for his performance many times. I am sure he will go to another level with this movie. 'Savaari' story is very fresh and I believe it audiences will encourage new talent. Watch this movie in theaters on 7th February".
Karthikeya said, "Nandu's journey is inspiring. He has proved himself as an actor many times. He has showing fighting spirit for the last ten years. I want to learn from him. We were sure about 'RX100' success after 'Pilla Raa' song became a hit. Two songs from this movie have become chartbusters. This movie will be a blockbuster for sure. I've stopped removing shirt on screen after many have made fun of it. But Nandu has removed shirt and pant for this movie. So, I will remove shirt once again. Star heroes will approach Saahith after this movie's release. Priyanka looks beautiful and her performance is also good. I will watch this movie on 7th February".
Viswak Sen said, "I've some connections with this movie. The first connection is Sahith. We were supposed to work together. But I got stuck in a couple of projects and so I couldn't do the film. He will become a big director. Nandu and I are from Dilsukhnagar batch. He used to do six pack abs when I was in intermediate. No one gives chances in the industry. We should take them. Nandu already took them and I am doing it. Even Saahith hasn't asked anyone for opportunities. He has made this movie with the support of his brother and a friend. Guys like him make movies with good intention spending their own money. You can't go wrong if you do a movie with good intention. I've come to the industry with such intentions. I'm not doing films because I'm rich. I want to pay back the money I borrowed. Nandu's track record will be good henceforth. There are many good directors in the industry and we should just be available to them. I'm a big fan of Sekhar Chandra's music. This movie will be a hit for sure".
Nandu said, "If you have to settle in film nagar, you should have content, not background. Karthikeya and Viswak Sen have that content and came to the industry from Dilsukhnagar. I've also come from there. Script is important for a actor. I'm sure the script has worked out 100 percent this time. Sahith is the real hero of this movie. The movie's run time in 2 hours 19 minutes. I thank Naga Chaitanya, Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej, Manchu Manoj, Sukumar garu and Surender Reddy garu for appreciating us after watching the trailer.
