One of the three is the killer. Circumstances force them to emote without speaking while hundreds of unseen characters outside are raising hell.
R.P. Patnaik and his brother Gowtham while traveling on a train conceived the story. 22 Minutes is shot on 35mm with Dolby Digital sound.
R.P.Patnaik said, "I believe ear is a tool for imagination, what's happening outside is left to the audience to figure out, and what these three do inside the house without talking is the crux of the film. I even believe life is a drama of expressions".
