Actor Sai Kumar's new devotional film, Sri Sai Darshanam, a Sri Sai Teja Arts production, was launched on 3rd October at a Shiva Temple near Gandipet. The film is being directed by D.Suresh Kumar and jointly produced by S. Lakshmi Ratnam and T. Sailesh Kumar. Vedananda Saraswati sounded the clap board while K. Raghavendra Rao switched on the camera and Sana Yadireddy directed child artist Swapni, who is portraying the role of Bala Sai Baba, in the muhurat shot.

"Sri Sai Darshanam is new age devotional movie that will cater to the all the devotees of Sai Baba. J.K.Bhargavi (of Sri Ramadasu fame) will be assisting us with the screenplay. We are planning to release the movie in January 2007." Director D.Suresh Kumar said.
