Yamadonga's audio was launched on Saturday (July 14) in grand scale at a glittering ceremony held at Marriott Hotel, Hyderabad. Union Minister Dasari Narayana Rao and K Raghavendra Rao launched the first cassettes from the specially created bowls that have artificial smoke much like burning oils.

The film's cast and crew that includes heroines Priyamani, Mamata Mohandas and Archana, Senthil Kumar, Keeravani, Rama Rajamouli, Prem Rakshit, Ratnam, Brahmanandam, Ali and Vijayendra Prasad attended the ceremony. Directors Puri Jagannadh, V V Vinayak Bhaskar and Surender Reddy, Hero Ravi Teja, Ramya Krishna, Maganti Babu, Suresh Babu, Anantha Sriram, Videocon representative Vivek Mishra were chief among the guests graced the function.

Some of the making films and trailers were shown at the ceremony. NTR's fans too attended.

Puri Jagannadh
"Rajamouli narrated me the story few months ago. I told him then that it would be super hit. I cannot reveal some points but it has lots of surprise elements. First I feared that Mohan Babu gaaru would overtake NTR but after seeing a dialogue both of them had done competitively. There is one dialogue that only NTR can tell. No one can do that."

Vinayak
"I have seen two songs in the film. The dances were mind boggling. Only NTR alone can do such songs. He is marvelous. Mohan Babu gaaru doing the film itself is a sign for the film's success. In one scene Tarak (NTR) reminded us of his grandfather Late NTR. Keeravani's music is superb."

Rajamouli
"This is my third film with Tarak. When I work with him, I don't feel excited. It is because whatever the expression I ask, he immediately gives without any fuss. He makes a director's job so easy that you hardly feel working. Yamadonga is full entertainer. When I thought how to keep people engrossed in this simple entertaining movie, suddenly I got this interval scene. I am sure that in that scene NTR reminds us of his grandfather. His dialogue at that scene is enough".

Dasari
"For over 35 years Raghavendra Rao and I are traveling. We had competition in between us but never had any quarrel or personal rivalry. I am happy that today's directors too are following similar way. Rajamouli told me the script. I should say the film has excellent story. NTR is hard working person and good artiste. I made Bobbilipuli, Sardar Paapa Rayudu with his grandfather, in today's generation he looks like a ray of hope to do such films. Regarding Mohan Babu, he is the only actor in Tollywood who can do any kind of roles with ease. I think we are going to see different Yama."

Mohan Babu
"I had never attended any film function except for my films. The reason I came to attend this film function is for the director Rajamouli and Tarak (NTR).

In my opinion, Rajamouli is combination of talents of Dasari and K Raghavendra Rao. I feel proud to be associated in such great technician's film. I myself was a technician. Before turning actor, I did apprenticeship in direction department for six months. So I always respect technicians. Rajamouli will become one of the greatest directors in Telugu.

Regarding Tarak, I should not praise him because he is like my son. But his acting talents are surprised me. There was a scene in the film where he had to say a lengthy dialogue. I was stunned by his delivery of that lengthy dialogue. After the scene I had immediately called Tarak's mother and told my joy. Yamadonga will become big hit and bring Tarak great success."

NTR
"Vinayak and Rajamouli are like my brothers. We all started our career at the same time. Both of them had given me blockbusters but I could not enjoy the success of Simhadri because after that I could not deliver hits. It is only because Rajamouli had shown me in greater heights in the film. It was not easy to live up to that film after that.

Rajamouli said he wanted me to look completely different from what I have been doing. So they asked me to reduce my height. Today whatever I am the credit goes for Rajamouli and his wife Rama Rajamouli. They made me look slim.

The dances in the film are going to rock every one and the one person who should be credited for this is choreographer Prem Rakshit. With Prabhudeva and Lawrence are busy as directors, I am sure that Prem Rakshit will become top dance master now. He has already done good numbers in Vikramarkudu and Chatrapati.

With music director Keeravani this is my third film. I am too young to speak about his genius. But I owe a lot to him. I respect him.

From my childhood, I have great liking for movies. After my grandfather NTR and uncle Balakrishna's movies, I used to watch Mohan Babu Uncle's movies a lot. From his Assembly Rowdy to Rayalaseema Ramanna Chowdhary, I had enjoyed everything. I will forever remain indebt to him for his love and affection on me. "
