At a press meet held on the sets at a private building in Miyapur, director Muthyala Subbayya announced that today, 24th Feb, the shooting of his film Aalayam, starring Shivaji and Honey Rose in the lead, will be completed.

"Aalayam is different from all of the 50 films that I have done so far. We are presently canning a family song and will be completing shooting by tomorrow" director M.Subbayya said on 23rd Feb. speaking about the film's cast and crew Subbayya made special mention of actor Rehman ,thanking him for accepting to do a special role in his film.

"I am happy to be working in this film" Rehman, who plays the role of the heroine's father, responded "this is my third film with Mutyala Subbayya".

"This film talks about values of the joint family system that no longer exists in our society" actor Raghunath said.

Heroine honey Rose, actresses Geethanjali and Kovai Sarala and actor Tilak were also present on location.

The film has music by Koti.
