The film ‘Chedugudu’ featuring debutants Jayanth (Bhanuchander’s son) and Swetha in the lead is progressing briskly. It has almost completed 70 per cent of shooting and the balance is the remaining two songs that are to be filmed shortly. A press meet was arranged at Chatrapati House, Hyderabad on August 8 to introduce the lead pair to the media at 8 AM in order to coincide with the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics 8-8-8.
While speaking to the media director PR Nagaraju said that the film is on the village backdrop. The story starts off with city life and gradually turns to village backdrop that ultimately ends in the village. He further added by saying that Chakri’s music and Sarath’s camera work are the biggest assets to the film. The remaining two songs will be picturised in Bangkok.
The producer of the film Bhimineni Tirupathaiah announced that the film is planned for Vijayadasami day release and the audio is likely to hit the markets in September. He personally thanked Kovai Sarala for her gratitude towards this project and presenting this film.
All the other cast and crew too expressed their belief and confidence that the film would definitely win the appraisals of the audiences.
The other prominent cast includes that of Brahmanandam, Kovai Sarala, Nagababu, Vinod Kumar, Raghu Babu, Jayaprakash Reddy, Ali, MS Narayana, Vadivakkarasi, Suman Shetty, Allari Subhashini and others.
The crew includes Gopu and Balu for the story, Ram Lakshman for the stunts, Ashok Raj, Nobel and Krishna Reddy for choreography; Veligonda Srinivas for penning dialogues; Shankar for editing; Bhaskarabatla, Kandikonda, Ananth Sriram, Ramajogayya Sastry for writing lyrics; Chakri for music; Sarath for camera work; PR Nagaraju for screenplay and direction and Bhinineni Tirupathaiah for the production.
