Aakasamantha Press Meet

A Tamil film titled 'Abhiyum Naanum' is being remade in Telugu as 'Aakasamantha' with a tagline 'I Love my Daughter'. Prakash Raj and Trisha are the lead cast. Prakash Raj is the producer for the Tamil version while Dil Raju is bringing it in Telugu by making few changes. Radha Mohan is the director. Dil Raju, Prakash Raj and Trisha spoke to the media briefly about the film at Prasad Labs today.

Dil Raju said that the film has both sentimental values and entertaining elements. It's a fantastic film for family audience. Hence he took the permission from Prakash Raj and started to work on Telugu version. A few scenes would be changed to suit the Telugu nativity. Vidya Sagar's music is the added flavour for this film which is being made with a novel concept.

"This film portrays the beautiful relationship between the father and a daughter at every stage. Director Radha Mohan has come up with a fabulous script. Trisha essayed two shades in a single role, i.e., as a school girl and a woman, which would be 'The Best' role in her career so far. The Tamil version of the film will be releasing in December 1st week and the Telugu version in December last week", said Prakash Raj who is playing the father to Trisha.

Trisha while speaking, "Aakasamantha" is a film with full of emotions and also a thought provoking film. After watching 'Mozhi' directed by Radha Mohan under Prakash Raj's production, I was awaiting for a chance to work with one such team and today I feel lucky to have got the chance so early with such a wonderful script."
