Aakasamantha Press Meet

Trisha – Prakash Raj starring ‘Aakasamantha’ under Dil Raju’s Venkateswara Creations banner is re-shooting few scenes in Ramoji Film City. Radha Mohan is the director. Vidhya Sagar scored the music.

A press meet was organized by the unit members in RFC in which Dil Raju, Prakash Raj, Trisha, Aishwarya, Preetha and Radha Mohan participated.

“I spoke to Dil Raju about this project a year ago and told him that this film could be made in Telugu and Tamil languages. But since the film was first completed in Tamil, we released in Tamil first and the film is running successfully. This is a feel good film which speaks about the human values. We are here (RFC) to re-shoot few scenes. Ganesh Venkatraman is playing the lead man in Aakasamantha”, said Prakash Raj.

Trisha says that this is a feel good film with lot of emotions in it. The film was released in Tamil with the title ‘Abhiyum Nanum’ and has become a successful one. She also hoped that this film would also become successful in Telugu also.

Director Radha Mohan said, “I’m happy to do a film under Dil Raju’s banner and the subject is based on family relationships.”

“The story of this film runs on the human values. I’m happy to make my debut both in Tamil and Telugu”, said the hero Ganesh Venkatraman.

“I’m acting in a Telugu film after quite a long time and I also hope that this film will bring me more opportunities in Telugu”, said actress Aishwarya.

“During the time of post production work of KBL, I watched the first half of this film in Tamil. Later I watched the entire movie along with my business partners who also liked it very much. Then I took up this project which for the first time happened without my involvement in the story. Although Aakasamantha has the same story that of Tamil version, I have moulded the same making small changes to suit the Telugu nativity. Although few stories are experimented with new concepts, some of them will reach the audience and this film for sure will reach the audience. The life of twenty years has been told as a story in this film. This film will sure be at par with films under our banner. A small film but a beautiful one indeed”, said Dil Raju who is producing the Telugu version.

Further speaking Dil Raju said, “Initially Jagapathi Babu was reluctant to do the role I offered him in this film. Later he gave a positive sign to do the role even though he is currently busy as hero in three films. His scenes would be shot in February and we are aiming to release the film March 27”.

Dil Raju concluded his speech by announcing that his film with Ram as hero and Srivas as the director would begin after the completion of Naga Chaitanya’s debut film.
