Prakash Raj – Trisha starring ‘Aakasamantha’ has successfully completed its shooting. The film is directed by Radha Mohan and produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. The Tamil version 'Abiyum Naanum' has got very good reviews. ‘Aakasamantha’ dwells on the bond between the father and daughter. A must watch film indeed!
To brief the details of the film Dil Raju along with his unit members invited the media today to RFC. Dil Raju, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu and Radha Mohan participated in the meet.
Prakash Raj while giving the details on the film said, “We have completed the entire shooting and are aiming to release the film in March. I’m very happy to say that I made my debut in Telugu with Jagapathi Babu’s ‘Sankalpam’. Today, I’m grateful to him for accepting the role in ‘Aakasamantha’. His role is very important in the film but at the same time it is not easy to accept such roles. Aakasamantha, is no doubt a good film with heart-touching elements”.
“Aakasamantha is the eight film under my banner. It has a remarkable theme with heart-touching scenes. At first, we approached Sunil for the role played by Jagapathi Babu. But then editor Marthand K Venkatesh suggested that Jagapathi can justify the role better. I’m very grateful to him for accepting this role inspite of knowing its length. I hope the audience will encourage us to make more and more meaningful films with good themes”, said Dil Raju who is producing this flick in Telugu.
Jagapathi Babu said, “Since I too have daughters I was touched with the narration of the story. Infact, I was to do a film with one such story but my well-wishers were against it”.
“Dil Raju first approached me for the role but later said that he will try someone else because it’s a guest role. But the main reason for me to accept the role in the film was the depth in the story. As an actor, this is one good opportunity to contribute my services to film industry which is like my mother. This apart, I’m a crazy fan of Trisha therefore I feel happy to be part of this film", Jagapathi Babu commented.
