Kurradu Audio Release
The audio release function of ‘Kurradu’ featuring Varun Sandesh and Neha Sharma as lead pair was held today at Prasad Labs, Hyderabad. Young and most happening hero and Chiranjeevi’s son, Ram Charan Teja graced the occasion and released the audio cassettes. And the first cassette was received by sensational director Puri Jagannath. Later the audio CDs were released by yet another sensational director SS Rajamouli and the first copy of it was presented to the king of Telugu music, MM Keeravani.
Directed by a debutant Sandeep Gunnam, ‘Kurradu’ is produced by Gemini Kiran under Anandi Arts banner.
Ram Charan Teja while speaking, “I am very happy to see my friend Varun Sandesh in a mass oriented role for the first time. I’m hopeful that Sandeep would surpass his father Gunnam Gangaraju in making new conceptual films. I was aware of his film course in Los Angles. I never expected him back in India. But I am really happy to see him as a director today. My best wishes to the entire team of ‘Kurradu’.”
Other prominent guests like Koti, Ramesh Prasad and heroine Neha Sharma also spoke on the dais. But hero Varun Sandesh could not attend the function because of his tight shooting schedule in USA.
Ram Charan wished the team all the best. “I know Sandeep for a long time. When I came to know that he went for Los Angeles for film studies, I thought he might settle there. Thankfully, he is back to here and making debut in Telugu as director. I am sure he would live up to the expectations he carries as his father Gunnam Gangaraju made some of the memorable films. Varun Sandesh is a good friend and it is nice to see him in a mass oriented role for the first time,” Charan said.
Puri Jagan commented, “The title ‘Kurradu’ was my first choice for Ram Charan’s debut film. My idea was to give the title ‘Kurradu’ with a tagline ‘Low Class’. But later we decided to go for the title ‘Chirutha’. Yet I like the title ‘Kurradu’ a lot. I’m confident of the film becoming a very big hit.”
Rajamouli commented, “Achchu, who is a debutant has given a very good music. He has a very bright future. Although the original version of ‘Kurralloi Kurralu’ is my all time favourite song, I also liked the remix track composed by Achchu.”
Recollecting his association with Achchu’s father Rajavannan, whom he considers as his guru Keeravani said that Achchu will definitely make it big in music industry.
