Magadheera Home Video Launch

Balaji Audio Company released the DVD of Ram Charan Tej-SS Rajamouli’s ‘Magadheera’ in the Blue Ray format. The launching ceremony took place in Marriot Hotel on Saturday, the 27th February. Allu Aravind, Ram Charan Tej, SS Rajamouli, Keeravani and Niranjan participated in the programme.
The first DVD was released by Keeravani and was presented by noted journalist Pasupuleti Ramarao.

Allu Aravind while speaking, “The Blue Ray format is being introduced in Telugu for the first time. Our friends Balaji Video spent about Rs 10 lakhs to make this format. Along with the DVD they are also giving the DVD of ‘Making of Magadheera’. About 40% of the profit of ‘Magadheera’ was acquired from Andhra region as well as DVDs. The more the profit the more quality films the producer will be able to make. Geeta Arts became the first banner to introduce the system of computer accounting. Likewise it also introduced DTS mixing and mobile game as well. Although we wanted to celebrate the 100 days function of the film we could not do so due to the present political situation in the state. We are planning for Silver Jubilee Function after everything comes to normalcy.”

Ram Charan Tej while speaking, “I was not aware of this Blue Ray format until Sirish explained me. This DVD has 20% higher quality than the ordinary CD or DVD. The quality is so high that one gets the feeling of watching it in theater. I’m very happy to note that the ‘Making of Magadheera’ DVD is also along with this DVD as I used to watch the making of Jackie Chan movies at one point of time. I hope this DVD will also become a big success.”

Keeravani said, “While K Raghavendra Rao directed the first Dolby film, his student’s film is being introduced as a Blue Ray. Interesting I worked for both the films.”

Rajamouli said, “Allu Sirish is one man who always thinks how to earn profits through new methods. I was anxiously waiting for the DVD of Magadheera.”

The chief of Balaji Audio Niranjan expressed his happiness for getting the opportunity to make the DVD of ‘Magadheera’.
