Yagam Press Meet

A Downtown Films presentation ‘Yagam’ featuring Navdeep, Bhumika and Kim Sharma is directed by Arun Prasad under Silver Screen banner. On the occasion of the film’s release shortly a press meet was arranged by Navdeep and Bhumika.

Navdeep said, “Yagam is a variety conceptual film. My association with director Arun Prasad started at the time of making of ‘Gautham SSC’. During that time only we wanted to do a film with a different concept. So we first discussed the story and choose the actors accordingly. 90% of the film was shot in Bangkok because the story revolves around that backdrop. I play the role of a bar tender and Bhumika played the air hostess. Kim Sharma also plays the role who works in the bar. This movie is the first of its kind with this concept in Telugu cinema irrespective of hit or flop. The film’s release date was announced as March 19th but if by any chance the theaters will be closed due to the rally against piracy by Telugu Film Industry, the film will be released on March 20th.”

Bhumika said, “Yagam is a good entertainer made with unique concept. There are only two songs in the entire movie. Therefore we did not release the audio. I’m associated with Telugu Film Industry for the past a decade. Hence I wanted to make films in Telugu. Apart from that I would also act in a film or two in a year. I’m completely satisfied and happy as a producer of this film.”
