Varudu Success Meet

‘Varudu’ heroine Bhanu Sri Mehra was introduced to the media on Saturday, 10th of April, i.e., after 10 days of the film’s release. The introduction programme was held at Universal Media production office for which Allu Arjun, Gunasekhar and the heroine Bhanu Sri Mehra participated.

Speaking to the media Allu Arjun said, “We haven’t revealed the heroine in ‘Varudu’ only because the hero also will see her only at the marriage mandapam. So since the hero will not see her for a long time in the film we wanted to create suspense by not revealing her face to the media as well. That has generated curiosity among the media and general public. Regarding the film’s success I can say that ‘Varudu’ is the highest grosser at box office collections of all my films so far.”

“Varudu is attracted by more family audiences. All those who saw the film opined that the secrecy maintained about heroine is really good. Chiranjeevi garu’s voice is an asset to the film”, opined Gunasekhar.

Heroine Bhanu Sri Mehra while speaking, “I was born in Amritsar and brought up in Mumbai. I did few ad films before I entered the film industry and this is my first film. I persuaded mass media. I was trained in acting by Bikshu before I was cast as heroine in this film. I’m very lucky to be cast opposite Allu Arjun in my very first film. This is my most unforgettable experience in life. I would like to act in Telugu and Tamil films more in the near future. I prefer decent and performance oriented roles rather than glamorous roles. Presently I’ve 2-3 projects in hand and will definitely let you know the details of it soon.”
