1977 Success Meet

‘1977’ starring Tamil actor Sarath Kumar in dual role and Farzana, Namita, Jayasudha, as female leads has been dubbed and recently released in Telugu. The film is directed by G N Dinesh Kumar and produced by RSK Pictures (P) Ltd. Vidhya Sagar composed the music. On this occasion the success meet was held at Hyderabad.

Jayasudha said, “All are aware that this movie ‘1977’ has been dubbed from Tamil to Telugu. Sarath Babu garu is donning a dual role. At the time of doing mother roles I got the opportunity to enact the wife of old Sarath Babu in this film. The director and producer selected the right artists for the right characters. For instance he came all the way to Hyderabad to convince me for that role even though there are many other artists available to do. This is definitely a family entertainer. I’m not telling this because I acted in this film. I wish that this film will become a big success in Telugu also.”

“I thank the Telugu audience for making the film a grand success and I also thank the media for their presence in this success meet. Our film ‘1977’ is released with record breaking 70 prints all over AP. Many theaters are confident of celebrating 50 days and some even 100 days. The audience who saw the film have expressed their happiness because the film has complete elements like action, love, comedy, sentiment, family drama and everything that a movie goer expects from a film in general. It’s not me alone who is speaking about this film but it’s talked about all over Andhra Pradesh, said the director G N Dinesh Kumar.
