Chandramukhi - 2 Muhurat

Victory Venkatesh’s new film under Sri Sai Ganesh Productions banner to be directed by ‘Chandramukhi’ fame P Vasu has been launched on April 28th morning at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad. While Bellamkonda Suresh is the producer, Ballamkonda Sai Srinivas is the presenter of this untitled flick. The muhurat shot was done on ‘God’s photos. Dashing director Puri Jagannath tapped the clap board, movie mughal Dr D Ramanaidu switched on the camera and the first shot was directed by the sensational director VV Vinayak.

On this occasion producer Bellamkonda Suresh said, “Kannada film ‘Aaptha Rakshaka’ was a super duper hit film that collected about Rs 40 crores. We are happy to remake that film in Telugu with Venkatesh Babu as hero. We have launched the film today. The regular shooting will begin from May 5th at Hyderabad and will continue in Vijayanagaram from May 12th onwards. This would again be a Venkatesh film for all segments of audience.”

Director P Vasu said, “My Tamil film ‘Chinna Thambi’ was done by Venkatesh in Telugu as ‘Chanti’ which was a industry hit in those days. I’m very happy to do a film with Venkatesh Babu in Telugu. This is the aptly suitable subject for Venkatesh Babu. This movie is a remake of Kannada film ‘Aaptha Rakshaka’ which I directed. This is a good family entertainer with graphics playing vital role. Since the subject of the film is universal, I hope the film will become a big hit in Telugu also.”

The film is yet to be titled. Cinematographer for this flick is Shyam K Naidu and the art director is Chinna. Story, screenplay and direction is handled by P Vasu. Selection for the remaining cast and crew is still going on.
