Manmadha Baanam Audio Release

The audio of Kamal Haasan-Trisha starrer ‘Manmadha Baanam’ was launched on December 13th, 2010 at Taj Banjara Hotel, Hyderabad. To be presented by Udayanidhi Stalin, which was directed by KS Ravi Kumar under Gemini Films Circuits banner, the Telugu version is going to be released by Lakshmi Ganapathy Films.

The audio launching function was attended by Dr Kamal Haasan, Udayanidhi Stalin, Madhavan, Devisri Prasad, KS Ravi Kumar, Ramesh Puppala, Saanam Naga Ashok, Vennelakanti, Sahiti, Ramajogayya Sastry, Subrahmaniam, RP Patnaik, Uday Kumar, Sangeetha, Archana, Shriya Dhanwanthy, Chinmayi, Nishanti, Keerthi, Deepika and others.

Archana, Deepika, Shriya Dhanwanthy, Nishanti, Keerti and Chinmayi presented the hearts symbol to Stalin which he released. Kamal presented its first copy to the girl in Red dress and a boy in White shirt. Later Madhavan released the audio CDs and presented to the heroines who were present on the dais.

Udayanidhi Stalin said, “I thank Kamal Haasan for providing this wonderful opportunity to make a film with him. The music in Tamil has become a big hit. I thank my entire crew on this occasion.”

Madhavan said, “I’ve explored new work experience by being part of this film. We did lot of rehearsals for this film. I’m a big fan of Kamal Haasan and there is no one in the industry we can compare him with. Devisri rendered very good music, infact Kamal sir also appreciated his music and sang the song ‘Neelavanam’. His voice is young and energetic.”

Devisri Prasad while speaking, “I thank my entire team members on this occasion. I’m really lucky to make Kamal sir sing in Telugu. My main target was to work with him, hence I could come up with the best music possible. I was a little scared when I did the re-recording work for ‘Dasavaratam’. But he shook my hand after seeing the work I delivered. Kamal sir’s energy and hard work inspires everyone in the industry. He wrote three songs in Tamil for this film. He worked hard for the Tamil audio launching function. This movie has been made with a different concept. Comedy is simply amazing and every character in this film has its own identity. One song picturisation is sure to thrill the audience. The entire song visualization will be played in backward format in high speed. This movie is sure to rock the box office.”

Director KS Ravi Kumar opined that this movie will be received well by Tamil as well as the Telugu audience. He said, “So far I’ve done 5 films with Kamal Haasan. He did 10 characters in ‘Dasavataram’, but in this film he portrayed ten shades in a single character. Trisha also played a lively character, Madhavan and Sangeetha are no exception. Devisri provided very good music. Telugu audience are kind hearted people. They like Kamal Haasan. I’m pretty sure that this movie will be well received by them.”

Kamal Haasan while speaking, “Every one spoke about me. Now let me say a few words about this film and its crew. The stars of this film are the 15 top technicians who worked for this film. Devisri rendered a hit music. We gave him the opportunity to work for this film after observing his re-recording work in ‘Dasavataram’. The song ‘Neelakasam..’ would confuse the audience in technically aspects. The synchronization is excellent for that song. This is an experimental song and I rendered the vocals for it. But the audience would understand the song better when they watch it visually. I’m happy that the lyricists have considered me as one among them. When I worked as a dance assistant in Hyderabad for a song ‘Entho chinnadi jeevitham…’, I never thought that one day I would participate in one such function. The entire crew worked very hard and never objected for rehearsals whenever I asked for it. I’m confident about the film’s success.”

Lyricists Vennelakanti, Ramajogayya Sastry, Sahita and others also conveyed their happiness to work with Kamal Haasan and his film ‘Manmadha Baanam’ and wished for the success of audio as well as the film.
