Chattam Trailer Launch

Jagapathi Babu-Vimala Raman starrer ‘Chattam’ is all set to release on March 25th. The film which is directed by P A Arun Kumar has a tagline ‘Nee Abba Sotha?’ Producers Natti Kumar and Rama Satyanarayana are together producing this film. State Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy graced the function and released the trailers. Later she said, “We are aware how the culprits in the society are escaping the law. Even if the court has the right to punish the criminals, it cannot due to the hurdles in the process of justice. Hence the criminals are escaping the law. To eradicate crimes in the society the young blood will fight the justice is the concept of this film.”

Law Minister Yerasu Pratap Reddy who played a key role as Home Minister of Maharashtra said, “This movie is about Jagapathi Babu’s judgement on criminals.”

Natti Kumar and Jagapathi Babu expressed their confidence about the success of the film. On the occasion Natti Kumar also requested the Ministers to render support on behalf of the government by not increasing the ticket rates. He added, “Out of 105 films that get released a year only 10 are big films and the rest are small films. At this juncture if the ticket rates are increased for the sake of big films, many small producers will incur huge losses. Even the Film Chamber has decided not to increase the ticket rates.”

Another producer Rama Satyanarayana announced that ‘Chattam’ is going to release with 400 prints which is the highest in Jagapathi Babu’s career.

Others who participated in the trailers release event were Ministers like T G Venkatesh, D K Aruna, Natti Kumar, Rama Satyanarayana, Jagapathi Babu and M M Srilekha.
