Nippu Press Meet

Director cum producer YVS Chowdary is all set to start his new production venture with Ravi Teja as hero and Gunasekhar as director. Titled ‘Nippu’, this movie will be made under the banner ‘Bommarillu’. A press meet was organised in Prasad Labs to make an announcement about this project on the occasion of YVS Chowdary’s birthday.

Addressing the media YVS said, “Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao garu had inspired me to grow passion for films. Due to his blessings I’m leading a happy and comfortable life. I completed my engineering and decided to step into film industry. Today everyone is seeing me in the position of what I decided to become 20 years ago. I worked in direction department under several directors before I became a director. Nagarjuna garu gave me life as a director after which I continued to be the same in the industry. Later I established the banner called ‘Bommarillu’, turned producer and learned the difficulties of a producer. I named my production house as ‘Bommarillu’ because it means ‘Dolls-making House’. I wanted to encourage the talented directors on my banner. Gunasekhar is a great director who started his career with the film ‘Sogasu Choodatarama’ and directed a wonderful film like ‘Okkadu’. He plans his projects well in advance, hence when he approached me with this script I instantly agreed to produce it. He is a director who updates himself with latest technology. He said that he takes 9 months to prepare a script and that itself is like my investment.”

Speaking further he said, “Ravi Teja, Gunasekhar and I who lived in one room, have established us in the industry. I used to call Ravi Teja as Andhra Amitabh. It’s the God’s blessings that today we three are together doing a film. I consider this as a wonder. The title of the film that is coming in our combination is ‘Nippu’ and it will be close to our taste. The formal launch of this film will be on May 28th. So I will let you know the details of cast and crew on that day. My brother-in-law Kishore will be the executive producer of this film. I named my music company ‘Yukta Musics’ on my elder daughter’s name. Now I’ve yet another daughter by name Ekta. Henceforth their names will be included in the titles of all my production ventures.”
