Nippu Muhurat

YVS Chowdary has launched the film ‘Nippu’ with Ravi Teja as hero and Gunasekhar as director under Bommarillu banner. Yalamanchi Geetha is the presenter. The movie launch took place at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad. SS Rajamouli tapped the clap board for the muhurat shot while VV Vinayak switched on the camera and YVS Chowdary directed the first shot.

Later addressing the media YVS Chowdary said, “This movie is in the combination of we three (Ravi Teja, Gunasekhar and YVS) who lived in the same room. I wanted to make a film with the ideas of other directors. So firstly it was Gunasekhar with whom I’m starting this process. Gunasekhar will direct ‘Nippu’ in his style with Ravi Teja’s energetic performance. Ravi Teja is sure to earn a new image through this film. I’m very happy to work with Gunasekhar and Ravi Teja on my banner. We will definitely make this film without compromising in any department. The regular shooting will begin shortly.”

Gunasekhar said, “I’m very happy to note that this movie is launched on the birthday of NTR garu. Even though YVS Chowdary and I are good friends, I will certainly maintain discipline while directing the film. All three of us (Ravi Teja, YVS and Gunasekhar) worked really hard in the initial stage of our career. I will try my level best to move a step ahead through this film. I’ve seen Chowdary as a director and today he has become a good producer like Aswini Dutt and M S Raju. There are no sets or graphics in this film but the audience will enjoy Ravi Teja’s energy in it. I’m really lucky to get good technicians. We are planning to release the movie by Sankranthi 2012.”

Ravi Teja said, “I always wanted to do a film under YVS Chowdary’s direction. But now I’m doing a film under his production and Gunasekhar’s direction. If one does a film under Gunasekhar’s direction, it means that he has achieved something. This is my 2nd film with Akula Siva and my 3rd film with cameraman Sarvesh Murari. This movie is going to be quite contrast to my previous films.”

Akula Siva said, “I’m writing the dialogues for this film. YVS Chowdary is making this movie with Gunasekhar with a good intention. The story is very impressive. I hope that my dialogues will become one of the reasons for the success of the film. After ‘Krishna’, this is my 2nd film with Ravi Teja.”
