Virodhi Audio Release
Srikanth-Kamalini Mukherjee starrer ‘Virodhi’ is being directed by Neelakanta and produced by Anil under Meka Media banner. The audio of this flick was released on June 15th at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad. Venkatesh graced the function and released the audio CDs while the first copy of it was received by Dil Raju. Other prominent guests in the audio function were Tarun, Srikanth, Kamalini Mukherjee, Neelakanta, Anil, R P Patnaik, Ajay, Kamal Kamaraju, Shivaji Raja, Kiran Varanasi and others.
Venkatesh while speaking, “Neelakanta is one of those directors who has good taste in films and directs films with meaningful stories. The trailers indicate that the film is on the backdrop of problems in present society. Srikanth is appearing different in this film. I wish a grand success for this film which is being produced by his brother.”
Dil Raju said, “Neelakanta’s movies are always different from that of regular formulaic films. Srikanth’s looks are pretty captivating in this film. Anil took special permission to shoot this film during the time of strike. I wish this movie will become a grand success.”
RP Patnaik said, “Today is the death anniversary of Sri Sri garu. His thoughts are implemented in this film. His soul can be seen in it. We composed a song based on a line written by him. While the director is the captain of ‘Virodhi’ team, the producer supported it by providing everything that the team requires. I composed the background score and I am sure it is going to earn me good reputation. Hence the movie is progressing at a fast pace. Srikanth’s character is different from his routine ones and he did it like his first film. ‘Virodhi’ is a rare kind of film, hence I’m confident about the positive response from the audience.”
“The script of this film sounded very unique when I heard it and I felt that with good music the film would turn out to be a good one. I very much felt that R P Patniak is the apt music director for this film. All experienced technicians worked for this film”, producer Anil Meka said.
Neelakanta said, “This is a socio-political film that reflects today’s society and politics. Srikanth is playing the journalist who remains trapped in political contradictions. The story revolves around the people, government, politics and the battle in the society. Everyone in my team worked very hard for this film. So I presume that the audience will like the film.”
Srikanth said, “I was impressed with the story narration of Neelakanta garu. I’m playing a journalist in this film. Neelakanta designed my characterization in a very unique manner and changed my looks accordingly. My brother was determined to produce this film.”
Kamalini Mukherjee said, “The director dealt with today’s politics in ‘Virodhi’. The society would get a good message through this film. I’m very happy to do this film.”
