Badrinath 50 Days Function

‘Badrinath’ in the combination of Allu Arjun, VV Vinayak and Geeta Arts banner has successfully completed 50 days in 187 centres. On this occasion the unit celebrated the 50 days event at Dasapalla Hotel in Madapur. Prominent guests in the function were Allu Aravind, Allu Arjun, VV Vinayak, Tagore Madhu, Kamal Kannan, Rajendra Kumar, Anand Sai, Chinni Krishna, Tamanna, etc.

Allu Aravind said, “Everyone in the team has been praying for the success of this film right from the day of muhurat. Since the media too cooperated with us a lot we have organised this event to celebrate the success along with the media. The film completed 50 days in 187 centres. Initially when the movie was released, the response was not so good with no phone calls at all. But the appreciation started with Suresh Babu’s call on the 3rd day after which the congratulations calls started pouring in. The collections also increased gradually. I never made this film for the sake of profits, but my intention was to project Bunny in a big way. When people are appreciating Bunny’s performance I feel great and happy as a father. The director also took lot of care while handling the script. I appreciate Vinayak for portraying Bunny’s role in such a remarkable manner. I requested Tamanna’s father and booked her in two films on our banner after watching her in ‘Happy Days’ film. Chinni Krishna is also provided good script for our banner. He also narrated yet another story which we are planning to finalize shortly. Re-recording of ‘Badrinath’ was superb. The cameraman also exhibited his talent. Peter Hynes did outstanding action scenes. Similarly Kamal Kannan’s graphics work was also extraordinary. I thank everyone who have worked for this film.”

VV Vinayak said, “I was very tensed on the first three days after the movie was released. I almost decided to stop directing films because I was so depressed. But after 3 days I got back my confidence by seeing the audience’s response. This is the dream film of me and Aravind garu. We wanted to show Bunny in a very extraordinary manner. He also gave his performance honestly. He worked very hard for this film. We shot a song in Badrinath due to which the movie has got half the amount spent on the film. Aravind garu provided India’s best technicians for me. We spent Rs 5 crores more than the budget limit. The film is running in theatres super strongly and I’m confident that the film will complete 100 days as well. I thank every one on this occasion.”

Allu Arjun said, “I was very confident about this film because we all have worked so hard. I also believe that hard work always pays you off. ‘Badrinath’s is not my film alone but the efforts of the entire team. We did this movie with respect and devotional mind. VV Vinayak played vital role in taking me to the next level through this film. I thank him as an actor to the director. My dad is just not a good dad but also a good producer.” Allu Arjun received a Maruthi painting as a gift from his friend.

Tamanna said, “Even though there are lot of heroines in the industry, Aravind garu brought me to this industry although I gave a huge gap after ‘Happy Days’. Last year I was shooting for ‘Badrinath’ and learnt a lot during that period. I can never forget the support I got from the unit members. I received very good compliments while shooting for the climax part. Arjun worked very hard for the film. I became a very big fan of him and hoping to do yet another film with him. Music is excellent. The director also has very good taste in doing films. I’m very happy to note the success of the film.”

Chinni Krishna said, “Right from the beginning I had good clarity on the script of ‘Badrinath’ movie. I was confident that purity will never fail. The movie had double collections in all the centres which happened for the first time in Bunny’s career. Those who saw the film went home and offered prayers to God. Hence the movie became a big hit. Bunny did cent percent justice to the film. I’m now going to do my 3rd film on this banner.”
