Urumi Audio Release

The multi-starrer film ‘Urumi’ starring Prithviraj, Prabhu Deva, Arya, Genelia, Nithya Menon and Tabu in lead roles and Vidya Balan in a special role is being directed by cinematographer turned director Santosh Sivan. SVR Media banner is bringing this Tamil film to the Telugu audience. The audio of this movie was launched on August 1st at Hotel Taj Deccan. Director Samudra released the first audio CD and presented it to Prithviraj couple. Each song was released by the guests followed by the trailers release.

Later while speaking Samudra said, “I’ve seen the trailers of this film. Santosh Sivan is the pride of India as a cinematographer. He worked very hard to direct this film. The end result will be fruitful due to team’s hardwork. This banner has brought numerous good films from other languages.”

B Jaya said, “I’m a big fan of Santosh Sivan. I’ve seen every film that he shot. Each of his film is unique on its own. The audience would be surprised after watching this film. According to me Santosh Sivan is the most talented cinematographer and director internationally. Shobha Rani always dubs good films.”

Bheemineni Srinivas said, “Santosh Sivan is one of the best directors in India. The trailers are tempting me to watch the film immediately. Right now dubbing movies are more in demand. SVR Movies always comes out with good films. I wish this film will become a big hit.”

Hero Prithviraj said, “I did a Telugu film. This is a dream film of Santosh Sivan because he wanted to bring the Malayalam film into other languages also. I’m happy that his dream is coming true.”

Director Santosh Sivan said, “I wanted to direct a Telugu movie. Most of the films in our country is based on independence movements. In this film I projected Vasco Da Gama’s episode in India. There is also good entertainment in the film. I hope that the Telugu audience will like the film.”

Shobha Rani said, “Our banner got this movie with the support of media. We were in Kerala for a week to get this film. It was Arya who recommended our banner for the producers. We think well before we buy any film. ‘Urumi’ is a weapon which is also a character in the film. This film will showcase the cruelty of Vasco De Gama. Every frame in this film will display Santosh Sivan’s mark. It’s just not possible to remake this film. It has to be dubbed in any language. We are trying hard to present the film without disturbing the originality. I wish Santosh Sivan will take more great films in Telugu. I wish all the best for the entire team. I’m confident that ‘Urumi’ will become a big hit just like the previous films on our banner.”
