Salamath Press Meet

Tanish-Tashu Kaushik starrer ‘Salamath’ is being directed by Avinash O Sridhar and produced S Ramakrishna under Varma Corporation banner. A press meet was held at Film Chamber of Commerce to brief the film’s details. In this press meet hero Tanish, director Avinash O Sridhar, producer S Ramakrishna, Lohith and Ramya Nambeesan participated.

Tanish said, “The point which we are dealing in this film is very nearer to today’s trend. The audience will understand why we have chosen this title after watching the film. The story has a sensitive point as well as emotion. We worked hard and we are sure to achieve the success. I thank all my team members on this occasion.”

Lohith said, “Many of them were under the impression that this is a Hindi film. However, we experimented with this film only to bring out some variety. The story of this film is on the backdrop of Telugu people in Malaysia. Major part of the film was shot in Malaysia. There is a huge difference in weather there when compared to that of here. We still worked hard in the hot sun by giving a break in between. We all shared the work equally and worked hard only to bring out the best quality. The entire film shooting is completed except the songs. The audio will be released in November and we are planning to release the film in December.”

Ramya, who hails from Kerala is making her debut as heroine in Telugu through ‘Salamath’. This heroine who already did few films in Malayalam says that her role in this film is bubbly and sweet. According to her there are lot of romantic and comedy elements in ‘Salamath’.
