Vennela 1 ½ Press Meet

‘Vennela 1 ½’ featuring Chaitanya Krishna and Monal Gajjar as lead pair is being directed by Vennela Kishore and produced by Vasu & Varma under GR8 Productions Pvt Ltd., is taking a brisk shape. A press meet was held today to brief about the film’s details.

Vennela Kishore said, “We have completed the shooting part and presently in post production works. I worked in direction department for ‘Vennela’ film, therefore I developed passion for direction. The 1st half of ‘Vennela’ inspired me to do the sequel for it. Half part of ‘Vennela’ is the part of my story, hence I gave the title as ‘Vennela 1 ½’. My producer Varma okayed the film only during the 4th sitting but supported me in all aspects after that. ‘Vennela 1 ½’ will be one of the big entertainers in 2012. Brahmanandam’s role is the highlight of this film. We are making efforts to release the film in February.”

Producer Varma said, “Kishore’s story narration impressed me a lot even though I could not give him enough time to narrate initially. I wish him to become a good director in the near future. He completed the 45 days scheduled shooting in just 29 days. ‘Vennela 1 1/2’ is a complete entertainer with decent comedy.”

Chaitanya Krishna, the hero of the film said, “This is my 4th film and I’m very happy to have got the opportunity as a hero. Comedy is the main part in this film. I wish a grand success to our film.”

Heroine Monal Gajjar said, “I thank my director and producer for giving me the opportunity as heroine in this film. We all worked hard as one family. I wish this film will become a big success.”

Raghu Babu said, “Kishore is delivering a full-fledged comedy entertainer. He directed the film extremely well. I’m very happy to have worked with good director and producer.”

Thagubotu Ramesh said, “I got a good break through ‘Ala Modalaindi’. I’m confident that I’ll get more recognition with this film. I played as a drunkard in this film too. Kishore designed my character in a positive way.”
