Charmme Kaur as the lead and as the presenter, ‘Jyothi Lakshmi’ was directed by Dashing director Puri Jagannath. Swethalana, Varun, Teja and CV Rao are jointly produced the film on CK Entertainments Pvt. Ltd. and Sri Subha Swetha Films banners. Puri Jagannath in his own style asked through the film about the discrimination against women in the present generation and therefore it has captured female audience a lot. On this occasion, Vamsi Internation unit has appreciated the unit. Telugu Desam Party leader Nannapaneni Rajakumari, PV Vijay Babu, Charmme and C Kalyan were present at the event. Charmme was felicitated with a heavy garland.
Speaking on the occasion, Nannapaneni Rajakumari said, “’Jyothi Lakshmi’ depicts the discrimination against women in the present generation. Charmme has acted wonderfully. If I say about her performance, it might be an understatement. The deficit after Savitri, Jamuna, Jayasudha and Jayaprada is filled out by Charmme through this film. Her acting is as good like Vijayasanthi in ‘Karthavyam’ and ‘Prathighatana’. I appreciate producer C Kalyan and director Puri Jagannath for making such a wonderful film.”
PV Vijay Babu said, “I don’t know why the film was titled as ‘Jyothi Lakshmi’. I feel that the title is not apt to the message in the film and to the Charmme’s acting skills.”
On this occasion, CK Entertainment chief C Kalyan said, “I’ve made over 50 films so far as a producer. Among them, ‘Chandamama’ has earned good name to me and now ‘Jyothi Lakshmi’ has surpassed the success of ‘Chandamama’. I’m feeling proud that I’ve brought a good film.”
Addressing the gathering, Charmme said, “Though I’ve done many films in my career, only few film earned good name to me. ‘Jyothi Lakshmi’ is such a film which brought good name to me. I’m thankful to Puri Jagannath garu for making such a good film with me. Right now, he is busy with Chiranjeevi’s film and that is why he is not present here. Puri garu has once again given me life through this film. I’m thankful to Puri garu and the audience who made the film a big success.”
Hero Satya expressed, “I went for audition with the feeling that it would be enough for me if I get a chance to act in at least a small character in Puri Jagannath’s film. But, he has given me the wonderful role and made me hero. Audience encouragement is unforgettable. I’m thankful to Puri garu, Charmme and C Kalyan garu for giving me such a wonderful opportunity.”
