Mega family’s latest crazy hero Varun Tej and the former Miss India contestant Pragya Jaiswal starrer most awaited film ‘Kanche’ trailer has been revealed on September 1, Tuesday, at Prasads IMAX in Hyderabad. Darsaka Dheerudu Rajamouli, Mega Brother Naga Babu, hero Varun Tej, heroine Pragya Jaiswal and some others have graced the event. Later a press meet was held.

“I always extol Krish. One should have passion, dedication and right attitude to make good film. Krish is a director who has all such qualities. It’s a fantastic thing that he is directing this film. Film is nothing but it will take audience to different world. Period backdrop films have more advantage to take audience to different world. But it is not an easy thing. I know the risk to ready the costumes, dress and battle tank which I have seen in the trailer. It needs extreme dedication. I can understand the hard work of the team. When I was watching the tanker shot in the trailer, it gave me goosebumps. I understood that a fantastic product is coming out. Krish is receiving critical acclaims, but didn’t score commercial success. I’m sure he will cross that fence through this ‘Kanche’. (Kanche means Fence). I’m confident that ‘Kanche’ will definitely stand out as a big commercial hit. Varun is the latest crazy hero from Mega family. Being a star kit is not just a boon, it’s a ban also. People might have advised Varun Tej to become like heroes in their family, but my advice to him is to be himself and carve a special path for himself. His acting style and choosing different script shows that he is caving himself a special image. I congratulate Krish, Varun and the team,” said SS Rajamouli.

‘Kanche’ is the best script for me after ‘Gamyam’-Krish Jagarlamudi.
“I always try to come up with a gripping story. It will take some time to ready the script and make the film. I carried the script for nearly three years. The World War II is the greatest war among all great world wars. But it has never been explores in Telugu or Tamil cinemas since 75 years. I needed an actor to perform the role who should look like a soldier and at the same time he should be innocent looking student and studying in Chennapatnam in the year 1936. By the God’s grace, I got Varun Tej to play the character and everything fall in place. I got an amazing script after ‘Gamyam’. I think we are executing the story well. Baahubali and Srimanthudu became super-duper hits recently. I hope that Kanche will also join the league. World War II was started on September 1 and ended on September 2, 1945. ‘Kanche’ is a beautiful love story. I’m sure the film will entertain everyone. Audio will be revealed on September 12 and film will be released on October 2,” said Krish Jagarlamudi.

“I was very impressed by the script narrated by Krish garu. But, I was so tensed at first as it has period backdrop. I have seen the visuals during the re-recording. It came out extraordinarily. The subject of the film depicts the fighting scenes of the Second World War which has never been explored in Telugu cinema before. The film is being shot with huge budget with real weapons, tanks, uniforms and locations of Second World War in Georgia country.
This prestigious film is being produced by Rajiv Reddy and Sai Babu under First Frame Entertainments banner with high budget and high technical values. The former Miss India contestant Pragya Jaiswala has paired up with Varun Tej in this film which is touted to be a romantic entertainer set in a backdrop of pre-Independence era. ‘Kanche’ will be made with high-end technology and with top production values. Directed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi (Krish) and Music composed by Chirantan Bhatt.

Nikithan Dheer, Avasarala Srinivas, Gollapudi, Shavikaru Janaki, Sangeetham Srinivas, Posani Krishna Murali, Satyam Rajesh, Anoop Puri and Merina Tara and some others are part of the film.
