Devaraya Logo Launch

The logo of Srikanth’s ‘Devaraya’ was released on Wednesday at FNCC in Hyderabad. Tammareddy Bharadwaja, who was the chief guest of the event released the logo. Nani Krishna is directing the film featuring Srikanth and Meenakshi Dixit in the lead. Srikanth plays dual roles as Devaraya and Dorababu. Director Nani Krishna is also producing the film along with Kiran Jakkamsetty under Sunray International Cinema banner.

Tammareddy Bharadwaja said, “I saw the trailers of ‘Devaraya’ yesterday. They were fantastic. Srikanth’s dubbing was perfect. ‘Devaraya’ will become a good film for Srikanth and the industry as well.”

Shivaji Raja said, “Srikanth is one actor who can do justice to either a social character or a mythological character. Now we have to watch him on screen what he has for us in ‘Devaraya’. I hope the film will become a big hit.”

Jaya Prakash Reddy said, “Srikanth is my favourite hero. I’m very happy to share the screen space with him. Though my role in this film is short, it’s a very good role. Srikanth showcased his talent in ‘Devaraya’ which otherwise is done by big stars only. I hope the film will become a big hit and bring us all a good name.”

Director Nani Krishna said, “I can never forget Kiran and Sunil in my life because these two main persons to start and complete this film. Many have criticized that I’ve utilized the name of Sri Krishna Devaraya. However, for instance while telling a tale of a king to the children, we say it as ‘Ananganaga Oka Raju’ without knowing the name of the king. Similarly I mentioned Sri Krishna Devaraya’s name who said ‘Desa Bhasha Landhu Telugu Lessa’ only for clarity and nothing else.”

Producer Kiran said, “Devaraya is being made as a socio-fantasy film. Srikanth supported us a lot not just as hero but as one among us and taught us many things. We are happy with the output of the film that has been shot so far. The entire credit goes to Nani. He is working very hard to bring out a super hit film. We are confident that ‘Devaraya’ will earn us a good reputation.”

Srikanth said, “Nani if filming the story the say he narrated it to me. I’m playing Devaraya and Dorababu roles in this film. I’m doing the role of Devaraya with great passion and dedication. Veera Babu’s dialogues and Poorna’s cinematography are the main attractions. The film will not miss entertainment part also. I’m confident that this film will earn good name to me and my entire team.”

DOP Poorna, dialogue writer Veerababu, Sammeta Gandhi and Prabhu also participated in the logo launching event.
