Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara Press Meet

Manchu Manoj, Balakrishna, Deeksha Setha, Lakshmi Manchu, etc., in the lead, ‘Uu Kodatara Ulikki Padathara’ is all set to hit theaters worldwide on July 27th. On this occasion a press meet was held today at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad in which Mohan Babu, Lakshmi Manchu and Manoj Manchu spoke to the media.

Mohan Babu said, “Lakshmi Prasanna was adamant in producing ‘Jhummandi Naadam’ despite my early caution. I advised her to do some other business instead of entering into production because of non-surity of returns. But Manoj earned good following among ladies and family audiences through that film. Lakshmi started ‘Uu Kodatara Ulikki Padathara’ with Rs 11 crs and the budget reached twice the figure by the time the film got completed which is beyond my capacity. The Gandharva Mahal set alone costs Rs 6.25 crs and we made the film in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. After watching the 1st copy of the film I became confident and even screened it for several writers who are not part of the film. They all appreciated the film and opined that Lakshmi is sure to get a hit with UKUP on par with ‘Assembly Rowdy’ and ‘Peddarayudu’. I’m immensely impressed with Sekhar Raja’s direction. Hats off to Balakrishna for accepting to do an important role in Manoj’s film and he deserves a special appreciation for taking special interest in his character and contributing his work for 44 days for this film. He also did not want to be highlightened in posters. This film is Manoj’s life ambition. He is sure to reach stardom with UKUP which is going to be the best film of this year. We are releasing the film on July 27th marking Sravana Sukravaram and keeping ladies in mind as they always liked my films be it hero or villain. I’m sure they will like UKUP also.”

Lakshmi Manchu said, “We are releasing theatrical trailers in all theaters from today onwards. Our work has got doubled on publicity since we are releasing the movie one week ahead. It took 2 years for us to make UKUP and we all worked with great passion.”

Manchu Manoj said, “UKUP is my dream project which I had been working on it since 2008. Altogether it’s a different movie from what we regularly watch. We have made it with good commercial elements using latest technology.”
