Gola Gola Platinum Disc Function

The platinum disc function of ‘Gola Gola’ starring Shivaji and Gayatri was held at Raavi Narayana Reddy auditorium in Hyderabad on November 7th. Dr Akkineni Nageshwara Rao was the chief guest of this function. The platinum disc was celebrated marking the success of the recently released audio composed by Ravi Varma. Shyam Prasad is the director of the film. Y Rani and Vikram Raj are jointly producing the film under Durya Art Production banner.

After presenting the platinum disc shields to the unit members, Akkineni Nageshwara Rao said, “Gola Gola title indicates that the film belongs to a comedy genre. While working with Shivaji for the film ‘Seetaramula Kalyanam Chutamu Rarandi’, I observed his talent and thought that he would certainly become one of the best actors and having worked in 60 films he is really a very talented hero. I hope the entire star cast did 100% justice to their roles in the film. I wish them all a successful career and hope that this film will earn them a good name.”

Shivaji said, “It is a great priviledge to share my screen space with Nageshwara Rao garu in my debut film ‘Seetaramula Kalyanam Chutamu Rarandi’. I’m very happy to see him again in this platinum disc function. ‘Gola Gola’ is a horror thriller mixed with comedy elements, just the way comedy was included in ‘Mantra’ movie. ‘Mantra’ was a big hit due to that and we are confident this film which is made in a different angle will also become a big hit. The audio composed by Ravi Varma got tremendous response. Youtube has already proved that. I thank Ravi Varma on this occasion and wish for the success of the film as well.” Further speaking he requested the producers to produce films only if they are capable of promoting their films. He urged that no film can reach the people without publicity.
