Devaraya Press Meet

Srikanth, Vidhisha and Meenakshi Dixit starrer ‘Devaraya’ has obtained U/A certificate recently and is all set to hit theaters on 23rd. The film is directed by Nani Krishna and produced by Jakkamsetty Kiran and Nani Krishna under Sunray International Cinema banner with music by Chakri. A press meet was held today to brief the film’s details in which Srikanth, director Nani Krishna, producer Kiran Jakkamsetty, Adhurs Raghu and others participated.

Srikanth said, “I’m playing a dual role as Devaraya and Dorababu in ‘Devaraya’. While Krishna Devaraya character is a little bit emotional, Dorababu is quite contrast to it. That character will entertain the audience completely. I took enough care while doing these roles as it should not make me a laughing stalk with even minute mistakes. It’s indeed very difficult to deal with the subject. However, director Nani crafted the film brilliantly. Veerababu penned superb dialogues and Poorna’s camera work is very attractive. I was little scared during the censor formalities as some of them tried to stop this film. But I’m happy that the film got its censor certificate without any problem. I want to do yet another film with Nani provided we come across a good script. He is sure to become a good director. I am confident that this film will earn a good name to me and my entire team.”

Producer Kiran Jakkamsetty said, “I thank the audience for making the audio a big hit. And I would also like to thank Chakri for providing a wonderful music. We have recently completed the censor formalties and obtained U/A certificate. I’m very happy to note the censor board members appreciating the film saying that this is a must watch film for the youth today. Nani worked very hard to make a hit movie. The first copy is ready. We are releasing the film on 23rd of November. We are very confident that ‘Devaraya’ will earn a good name to all of us.”
