D for Dhopidi Logo Launch

Logo of ‘D for Dopidi’ was launched on Monday at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad. The film features Varun Sandesh, Sundeep Kishan, Naveen, Rakesh and Melanilu in central roles and is directed by Siraj Kalla who earlier worked as associate director for the Bollywood film ‘Shor In The City’. Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D K are jointly producing the film under D2R Films Pvt Ltd. The tagline of this film is “Dobbadanika?....Dobbinchukodanika!?”. The interesting part of this film is that filmmaker Deva Katta played a prominent role in this movie as A.C.C Krishnamachari.

One of the leading producers Ashwini Dutt graced the function and unveiled the banner logo while the posters were released by the prominent directors Deva Katta and Krish. On the other hand the title logo was released by yet another director Sukumar.

Later addressing the gathering Ashwini Dutt said, “The producers of this movie have proved their mettle in Bollywood and now stepped into the homeland to show of their skills. I wish them a grand success for their sincere attempt.”

Sundeep Kishan said, “After seeing the rushes in ‘Prasthanam’, Raj & DK gave me the opportunity in ‘Shor in the City’ and now in this film. In one way I consider them as my mentors. ‘D for Dopidi’ is a funny movie with the cast of 40 artists. Mahesh Shankar provided excellent music. I hope the audience will like the film.”

Producer Raj Nidimoru said, “D of Dopidi is our first movie in Telugu. Siraj worked as an associate director for our earlier film ‘Shor in the City’. He has great passion for films and also developed knowledge in direction. ‘D for Dopidi’ is on the backdrop of crime and comedy. Since long we have been planning to do a film in our mother-tongue language. Finally we have succeeded in doing so with this film. For the first time in his career Varun Sandesh will be seen with a gun in his hand. We are confident that the movie will surely attract our Telugu audience.”

Director Siraj Kalla expressed his confidence saying that he directed a good movie and thanked his producers for choosing him as director by trusting his story.
