Genius 25 Days Celebrations

‘Genius’ starring Havish, Sanusha and Ashwin in lead roles which was directed by Omkar and produced by Dasari Kiran under Ramadoota Creations banner has recently completed 25 days. OAK Entertainments Pvt Ltd is the presenter. On this occasion a special screening was held for members of directors and writers association followed by 25 days celebration in which Parachuri Brothers, Sagar, Tanikella Bharani, Muthyala Ramesh, Maddineni Ramesh, producer Dasari Kiran, director Omkar, Chitti and others participated.

Tanikella Bharani said, “I appreciate director and producer for delivering a good message oriented film. Every frame of the movie is very rich. I wish this film to become a bigger hit.”

Maddineni Ramesh said, “This movie was made with powerful story. I appreciate the producer for making this film with passion on films instead of commercial success. It’s not right on part of theater owners for removing this film from theaters as it was running successfully. It’s only big producers who are killing small films by keeping theaters in their control. It the trend continues like this, then small producers might loose their patience and kill those who kill small films. Hence I request them not to bring one such situation.”

V Sagar said, “Genius movie was made with a good subject and a good message. Omkar crafted the film like an experienced director. However, it’s very sad that theaters are not available for such good films. If this continues to be it’s very difficult for small films to survive. We are going to see the DTH system in near future. Then all theaters will be closed.”

Producer Dasari Kiran said, “Genius has successfully completed 25 days of screening. When the directors and writers watched our movie and appreciated, it has given immense happiness and boosted our energy levels. It’s very unfair to remove our film from theater even when it was getting good response. The welfare of the industry grows only when small films survive. Otherwise new producers will back-off from entering into this industry. I was able to manage to screen my film in 40-50 theaters only due to my influence. I am able to sustain because I have other businesses. Hence I request the industry bigwigs to take it serious and save small films. I also thank the audience for watching our film and making it successful.”

Omkar and Parachuri Brothers also spoke and expressed similar opinions.
