Welcome Obama Muhurat

Prominent director Singeetam Srinivas Rao has launched his new film titled ‘Welcome Obama’ today at Korumamidi village in West Godavari district. S Bharati Krishna will produce this film under Sandalwood Media banner with S Bharati as presenter. The film launch took place silently with the muhurat shot on Gods’ pictures. Smt Kalyani,(Singeetham’s wife) sounded the clap board while Smt Lakshmikantam (producer’s mother) switched on the camera and Sri Krishna Murthy (producer’s father) directed the first shot.

Later in the press meet director Singeetam said, “We have selected the title ‘Welcome Obama’ for the film. The film will be as unique as its title. However, going by the title please do not mistake it to be a political film. This is completely a different film with a mix of comedy and sentiment. We have selected the artists from national and international as per the story demand. I worked with self-disciplined producers like Nagireddy and Chakrapani in the past. I saw the same discipline, determination and hard work in these producers. I’m aware of some successful TV serials which they have produced with great efforts. I’m really happy to team up with such committed producers.”

Producer Bharati Krishna said, “I’m very happy to make by debut as film producer with a great director like Singeetham Srinivasa Rao. Since the story of the film is on the village backdrop, we have launched the film here. We have planned the 1st schedule here till March 2nd. We have produced several different conceptual serials in the past. We are planning to produce this film in that style only. The film will be as different as its title.”
