The audio of ‘Memu’ starring Surya, Amala Paul and Bindu Madhavi has been launched at a grand function in Hyderabad on Monday evening i.e. on November 9. ‘Memu’ is the Telugu dubbed version of Tamil film ‘Pasanga 2’ which is a children's film directed by Pandiraj. Julakanti Madhusudhan Reddy is bringing the film to the Telugu audience under his banner Sai Manikantha Creations with Surya and KE Gnanavel Raja as presenters. Arrol Corelli has given musical tunes for this film.
Surya, KE Gnanavel, Macharla MLA P Ramakrishna Reddy, Siva Krishna, KVV Satyanarayana, Prasad, Sannithi Kumar Reddy, Retired Judge kanthayya, Veeru Potla, Multidimension Vasu, Giri, Subbaiah, Malli, Sai Reddy, KK Radha Mohan, Narendra Raju and Mahalakshmi Suchitra and some others have graced the event.
Veeru Potla has revealed the theatrical trailer, while hero Surya release audio CDs.
On this occasion, hero Surya said, “After Jyothika starrer ’36 Vayadhinile’, this is the film I produced from our banner. Pandiraj researched a lot on kids and their behaviour. Arrol Corelli, who is a charted accountant, learned music composition with great passion and became music director. He has given excellent music for ‘Memu’. I wish and hope that Telugu audience will encourage us by making the film a big success.”
P Ramakrishna Reddy said, “I wish that Julakanti Madhusudhan Reddy should make many more good film in future. I wish ‘Memu’ will become big success.”
Speaking at the audio launch event, Siva Krishna said, “Producer Madhusudhan Reddy is my good friend. He is a good human being. I know Surya and Karthi since they were 10. They both are disciplined. I wish all the best to the unit.”
KVV Satyanarayana said, “Surya’s father Siva Kumar and I together did ‘Sindhbhairavi’. I becam big success in Telugu and Tamil. I dubbed two films of Surya to Telugu. When producer Julakanti Madhusudhan Reddy approached me with the intention to enter into the film industry, I suggested him to dub ‘Pasanga-2’ film to Telugu. I’m sure this good family entertainer ‘Memu’ will impress everyone.”
Veeru Potla said, “Suryaand Karthi are following their father Siva Kumar’s footsteps in terms of discipline. Director Pandiraj’s ideas will be very different. ‘Memu’ trailer is very impressive. I’m very confident that the film will become big hit.”
