She Muhurat

A new film ‘She’ that features Shwetha Menon of ‘Rajanna’ fame, Mahat Raghavendra, Chetana Uttej and Sonia Agarwal in the lead roles, was launched on Sunday, December 20 at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Tejeswar Rao is producing this film under Maheshwara Arts banner with ‘999’ fame Parsa Ramesh Mahendra as director. ‘Is Waiting’ is the tag line. Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrasekara Rao's brother's son Kalvakuntla Tejeswar Rao aka Kanna Rao has entered into production department through this film. Ramya sounded the clap board, while Puri Jagannadh directed the muhurat shot. Mr World Anoop Singh switched on the camera. Kalvakuntla Tejeswar Rao has donated Rs. 3 Lakhs to the conjoined twins Veena and Vani.

On this occasion, producer Kalvakuntla Tejeswar Rao said, “I’m very happy that we have started the film grandly with a good voluntary service. We are introducing Uttej’s daughter Chetana Uttej as heroine through this film. Mahat Raghavendra is plying the hero. Director has readied a wonderful script. We are planning to start the regular shooting in January and release the film in the last week of April or in the month of May.”

“’She’ is a pure love story which will preserve traditions and culture. We have added some thrilling elements to this love story,” said director Parsa Ramesh Mahendra.

On this occasion, Shwetha Menon said, “10 months back, director Mahendra approached me with this script. I was very impressed by the script narrated by him. I’m playing the title role. I’m working with an excellent team.”

Speaking at the film launch function, Mahat Raghavendra said, “After doing ‘ladies and Gentlemen’ a one and half year back, I’m doing this film in Telugu. It’s not a horror thriller like everyone else is thinking. It’s a sentiment film. I’m sure the film will impress everyone.”

Kavitha, Uttej and Chetana Uttej and some others were also present at the function.

Ramaprabha, Kavitha, Posani Krishna Murali, Surya, Dhanraj and Chitram Srinu and some others are part of the film.
