Jai Ho Muhurat

Maha Ganapathi Films banner launched a social oriented film titled ‘Jai Ho’ featuring Siva of ‘Jagan’ fame as hero and Priyanka as heroine. This film will be directed by Balasekharan and produced by cinematographer cum producer M Sudhakar. The muhurat for the film was held today (Friday, August 16, 2013) in Hyderabad for which Dasari Narayana Rao sounded the clap board while N T Chowdary switched on the camera.

Later addressing the media hero Siva said, “I’m very happy to work with an experienced director and producer. I’m playing a student that has all kinds of emotions.”

Director Balasekharan said, “I did films like ‘Ammayi Bagundhi’, ‘Priyamaina Neeku’ and ‘Snehamante Idheraa’ in Telugu. Now after nine years I’m doing this film once again in Telugu. There is a good energy in the subject and the title has been aptly chosen. The film will have all elements. The film will be made based on the original incident occurred in Andhra college.”

Producer Sudhakar said, “This story was a big hit in Malayalam with 100 days run. We have taken up this project only by trusting the story. Our director delivered several successful movies in the past. The story is on college backdrop that revolves around the point “Education has become a business”. Title is apt to the film. Siva is the apt hero for the film too. We will shoot the entire film in Hyderabad. There are six songs and four fights. The first schedule which began today will continue till this month end. The second schedule has been planned from September 9th to 30th with which the talkie part will be completed. We will shoot the songs at overseas in October.”

Priyanka, Parinidhi Chopra and Akshita also expressed their happiness for being part of the film.

Parinidhi Chopra, Akshita, Roja, Sandeep Pratani, Brahmanandam, M S Narayana and Dharmavarapu Subrahmaniam are also the main cast in the film.
