J K Bharavi’s directorial venture ‘Jagadguru Aadi Shankara’ starring Kaushik in titled role was recently applied to Telugu Film Producers Council Oscar Singers for the category ‘Best Foreign Language Film Award’. On this occasion produer Nara Jaya Sridevi organised a press meet on Thursday in Hyderabad.
Nara Jarasridevi said, “The movie has entered the 3rd week and we are screening it in 116 theaters. Students with ID cards can watch the film for half rate ticket from this Friday to next Thursday. So I request the elders not to question the students when they want to watch this film since ‘Aadi Shankara’ is also related to knowledge. This film will be like a good lesson to all.”
Sai Kumar said, “Today is Nagarjuna’s birthday. He helped us by acting in this film. Thanks to all those who recommended this movie for Oscar screening. The scenes involving Srihari and Kaushik are amazing.”
Maruthi said, “Many are asking if I had watched the film. We normally have very low expectations on any film that’s released. However this film got fruitful results for its team’s efforts. Directors like me will get inspired to do such films only when these kind of movies get the opportunity for Oscar screening. I appreciate the producers for organize free shows from tomorrow for students who have ID cards. But films of this kind must be watched by buying the ticket.”
